I purchased in Jan. and it has been broken 4 times. They will not replace or refund. It has taken 3 months for this last repair and when I called the technician to see when service date will be they had no record. It has been broken more than I have used it. I only gave one star because you have to.

My new cooktop was delivered and installed yesterday 5/28/2020 and today I removed the protective plastic sheet to find the entire cooktop was covered with thousands of pits. They cannot be removed they are integral to the Schott-Ceran ceramic.

This is our second one of these stoves. Our last one lasted for 5 years before the touch quit working. Then we bought a replacement. Now the replacements touch buttons has also quit working. Looking through the reviews i am not the only one with this issue. I would have hope the new cooktop would have had upgraded boards to fix the issue but it is not the case. the new stove was manufactured in late 2019 and the issue is still there. I will not buy another LG cook top. This is too bad because all my appliances and even my tv is LG.

I am on my third refrigerator. The third one now has a pump leak from the ice maker. The others had a freezer seal defect which didnt seal and let air into the freezer causing ice build up. I really enjoy the features and the luxury features. Its cavernous and holds more than I will ever need. I was able to get rid of the garage fridge because this new one really holds a lot. I just redid the kitchen and had the cabinets built around this massive appliance. The freezer is amazing and love the way the drawers open and come out. Even with all of the problems I really like it. Still having issues hooking to WiFi. I purchased all new LG appliances with WiFi. Im probably going to have to hire someone to figure out how to get it all connected.

We bought the unit on 12/30/19 but finally got it installed by Best Buy this past Saturday on 1/18/20. We had an electrician install new 6/3 gauge wire and 50 amp breaker per installation guide to make sure there was no issues. Now after just a few days we could not turn off the unit. It became unresponsive while it was still on I had to reset the unit by flipping the breaker off/on. The user guide has no troubleshooting for if the unit touch screen buttons do not respond. This is super disappointing after spending $2000 for the cooktop and electrician And off course now that it is installed it is showing in our BestBuy account that it is none returnable Buyer beware DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK

I love this cooktop I has so much space and the ability to select multiple rings for different size pots and pans give it so much flexibility. The only reason I didnt give it a 5-star rating is because every now and then all the control lights will start flashing and the unit will be completely inoperable until you turn off/on the ciruit breaker that controls the cooktop. That is incredibly inconvenient. Im hoping this is a function of a poor install - as was the case with our LG dishwasher. On the whole though I love it

I bought this cooktop less than 6 months ago. Had it installed less than 45 days ago. The cooktop started off with a beeping sound going off in the middle of the night and throughout the day when it was not turned on. The only way to get it to stop was to cut the power off. Then the cooktop stopped responding to touch after getting hot. In order to cut it off I had to go turn the power off at the breaker. Now it will not even cut on. This is all with using the cooktop less than 45 days. Also LG has not provided any solutions or support. It has been 7 days since the service company came out and recommended a new unit and I still have NO answer in regards to getting it replaced.

I bought this unit from Home Depot and it was delivered promptly in excellent condition. The electrician and I had to slightly expand the synthetic stone counter cut out but there were several videos on U Tube to show how to do it and the hardest part was the clean up. Be sure to apply the supplied cooktop cleaner before the first use to ensure that the entire surface is easily cleaned after any spills - and use the cleaner every now and then afterwards. I really like the safety feature of having to turn on power to the unit and then select the element I want to use. That way there shouldnt be any accidental turning on a burner as I did with the old knobs unit. I appreciate the clean styling and the quickness with which the elements heat up reducing the time it takes to cook anything. With LGs reputation for quality I expect to get many years of use from this cooktop.

Purchased this refrigerator at Lowes in Midland Tx. It was on the scratch and dent aisle. Didnt really want one all banged up but this one had a small scratch down low and on the side. It was marked down to half off Great deal We love the French doors and the freezer on the bottom. Ice and water in the door work great This one has another ice maker in the freezer section for extra ice in the summer. Overall an excellent buy
